Alumni Spotlight: Abhinaya Ravikumar
Some journeys begin with curiosity in a classroom — and grow into a passion to change the world.
“My years at NPS International School Singapore were deeply formative, not only academically but personally,” shares Abhinaya. “While NPSI is known for its academic rigour, what shaped me most was the emphasis on character, discipline, and holistic growth.”
Through school responsibilities and activities, she built resilience, confidence, and the courage to take initiative. A particularly meaningful influence was her Biology teacher, Selvaraj Sir, whose passion for the subject inspired her to think critically and love the life sciences beyond the syllabus.
That spark led her to pursue Biological Sciences at Nanyang Technological University. Today, she is completing her undergraduate degree with a research-focused Final Year Project studying antimicrobial peptides and their effects on drug-resistant bacteria.
She has also completed an internship at GSK, gaining valuable exposure to healthcare innovation and ethical industry practices.
Looking ahead, Abhinaya hopes to contribute meaningfully to biomedical and pharmaceutical research — work that has real-world impact on human health.
We are incredibly proud of her journey and excited to see the difference she will make.
💙 Once NPSI, always NPSI.

Meet the student top global universities want to accept.
We are incredibly proud to share that Menaha has received an admission offer from the University of Oxford to pursue her dream of studying Law.
Her journey reflects years of consistent growth, courage and character.
As the youngest intern at Luthra and Luthra, she stepped into the professional world early. She explored complex ethical questions at the International Ethics Olympiad. She stood among the Top 10 finalists at the World Scholar’s Cup at Yale University.
For five years, she represented her school in Model United Nations — earning the Outstanding Delegate award at every conference she attended.
In alignment with our vision of empowering students “to have a positive impact on the world,” Menaha also participated in the Write for Kindness Competition organised by the Singapore Kindness Movement, exploring empathy, justice and social cohesion through storytelling.
Beyond academics, she represented NPSI in football and basketball for seven years, and played a key leadership role in the Student Senate — organising YouthCon, Carnival and Sports Day.
Menaha’s success is not built in a year. It is built over time — through opportunity, mentorship and sustained encouragement.
At NPS International School, we believe students who spend years with us grow into confident, capable and compassionate leaders. We provide platforms across academics, leadership, sports and service so every child can discover who they are meant to become.
Congratulations, Menaha. The world is ready for you.

Big dreams. Big achievement. Big congratulations. 🎉
Samaira has received an offer from the University of Oxford to pursue Engineering — and her journey reflects years of passion, dedication, and opportunity coming together.
An IGCSE school topper with 11 A*s, Samaira is also an inventor of a Cycloid Drawing Machine, founder of the NPSI Design & Engineering Club, award-winning documentary creator, TEDx Youth NPSI speaker, NASA HERC co-leader and mentor, and a gold medalist in inter-school tennis.
She is a powerful example of what happens when students are given the platform to explore their interests deeply over time.
At NPS International School, we nurture students for the long run. Many of our students grow with us for a decade or more — and that sustained ecosystem of mentorship, opportunities, and holistic learning helps them build world-class profiles that top universities seek.
We are incredibly proud of Samaira and all that she represents. The future is bright. 🌟

Alumni Spotlight: Parth Naik
This week, we shine the spotlight on an alumnus who reminds us that success is about the integrity, reflection, and purpose behind the journey.
Parth Naik’s story is one of quiet determination and deep self-belief. Throughout his schooling and university years, he encountered doubt—about his ambitions, his dreams, and his ability to “make it.” Yet instead of letting that doubt define him, Parth turned inward and asked a powerful question: Would my younger self be proud of who I am becoming? That question has become his compass.
With clarity and humility, Parth set six goals for himself to achieve by 2030. While he believes the journey is far from complete, one significant milestone has already been achieved—his recent internship at the Parliament of India. It is a testament to his growing commitment to public service, leadership, and impact.
At NPS International School, we are proud to have nurtured students like Parth—individuals who measure success not just by external recognition, but by the standards they set for themselves.
Scroll through to see Parth's incredible journey and experiences with esteemed dignitaries like the former CIA Deputy Director (2010–2013), Michael Morell, the former Secretary of Homeland Security, Michael Chertoff, the Consulate General of India in Edinburgh, Siddharth Malik and the Member of Scottish Parliament, Sandesh Gulhane.

🎓 It’s just January — and we already have exciting university admission news to celebrate!
The first university acceptances are in, and our students at NPS International School have made an exceptional start to the admissions cycle.
So far, our students have received 115 admission offers from leading universities in the UK and Australia, with US admission results expected between March and May.
🌟 Early highlights include:
- 4 offers from the University of Oxford
- 30% of all offers from Global Top 20 universities, including University College London and Imperial College London
60% of offers in highly selective STEM programmes, such as Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Computer Science, Molecular Biology, Data Science, Biochemistry, and more
These early results reinforce what we strongly believe in — the NPSI approach works.
Through rigorous academics, structured guidance, and holistic profile-building, we prepare students not just to apply to top universities, but to succeed in competitive, global admissions landscapes.
Congratulations to our students, teachers, and families on these outstanding early achievements. We look forward to sharing even more great news in the months ahead!

Many parents believe that enrolling their child in a rigorous secondary school is enough to secure top board results and entry into leading universities.
But the truth is—academic success doesn’t begin in Secondary School. It is revealed there.
The real foundation is built much earlier, during the Primary Years.
This is when children develop:
✔️ A love for learning and natural curiosity
✔️ Strong literacy and numeracy skills
✔️ Resilience, discipline, and endurance—the very skills needed to handle exam pressure and demanding academic schedules later in life
Yet, primary schools are often chosen for convenience—distance, logistics, or fees—rather than for the quality and rigour of education. While these factors matter, they should never outweigh what truly shapes long-term success.
At NPS International School, we take a long-term approach to education. From Early Years through Primary, we intentionally build strong academic foundations while nurturing essential life skills.
📊 In fact, the average tenure of our most recent graduating cohort was nearly 9 years at NPSI—and our data clearly shows that students who begin their journey with us earlier are better prepared, more confident, and more successful in competitive exams and university admissions.
🎓 Excellence is not built overnight. It is built early.
Start your child’s journey to top international universities with NPS International School’s Early Years and Primary Years programmes.

Alumni Spotlight: Anubhav Arora
We’re proud to celebrate Anubhav Arora, whose journey from NPS International School to the University of Adelaide — and now to PwC — reflects the strong foundation built during his years at NPSI.
In Anubhav’s own words:
“My time at NPSI was one of the most influential stages of my education.”
He shares that the environment was competitive in the best way — pushing him to balance academics with extracurriculars and “take ownership of my learning instead of relying on pure memorisation.”
Experiences like Inter-House competitions, MUN, and school camps pushed him out of his comfort zone. “They helped me develop skills I didn’t even realise mattered — public speaking, teamwork, leadership and learning how to deal with pressure.”
He also remembers teachers who inspired deeper thinking: “They pushed me to think beyond the textbook and cared about how we approached problems.”
Looking back, Anubhav says the biggest impact was mindset-building: “NPSI shaped my mindset more than my application itself. It taught me discipline, independence, and how to handle challenging workloads.”
These skills guided him through his Commerce degree and into his current role at PwC.
We’re incredibly proud of you, Anubhav. Your journey shows what an NPSI education prepares students for—lifelong confidence, curiosity, and purpose. 🌟
