Programme Structure|Lead the Future of Finance: MSc in Financial Technology
The MSc in Financial Technology (MSFT) offers a 1-year full-time or 2-year part-time pathway across 3 trimesters. Courses are delivered in intensive 7-week blocks and held on weekday evenings (6:30 PM–10 PM) or Saturdays at NTU's main campus.

Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) – For the technical side of FinTech (coding, automation, AI)
Digital Financial Services (DFS) – For the strategic and managerial side of FinTech
Curriculum at a Glance
Total Credits: 30 AUs
Compulsory Courses: 12 AUs
Prescribed Electives (from your chosen specialisation): 12 AUs
Unrestricted Electives: 6 AUs
Real-World Practicum
In Trimester 3, students take MH6838, a hands-on project or self-sourced internship, where they tackle real financial challenges under expert mentorship.
Our students have interned at: GIC, DBS, OCBC, UOB, Grab, Macquarie Bank, CIMB, Julius Baer and more.
Graduation Requirements
Completion of 30 AUs with a minimum CGPA of 2.50
