Little Artists Art Studio is a cosmopolitan fine art studio in Singapore, for children and adults, with a multinational staff of highly qualified Fine Arts teachers and practicing artists. Nestled within the tropical grounds of Mandarin Gardens, the Studio has helped thousands of students attain higher creative expression. Whether you have a child of 2.5 years that likes to draw castles with wild

abandon or are a stressed-out adult seeking a few hours of art karma through oils, there is an individualized program for everyone. Little Artists was established in 1997 to celebrate fine art through children - to imbue their lives with color, form, texture and composition. Our programs instil in them, a deep appreciation of art and refine their self-expression abilities. Seeing the improvement in the confidence and joy of children, Little Artists expanded to include classes for adults that would offer stress-relief and a chance to use their creativity in meaningful ways. Starting with the fundamentals of color and composition, students imbibe the underlying tools of creativity. Introducing artists of all abilities to a variety of mediums, techniques and art forms by qualified professionals, the teachers establish the core-skills necessary to encourage students to explore freely. Each artist is guided by their aptitude and interest, as each student begins where his/her ability permits. Where one starts is never where one ends when given expert training and encouragement, and a personalized path to follow. Our small student-teacher ratio ensures individual and sustained attention at all levels. Our programs are designed to discover and showcase the creative best in you. Little Artists fosters a fun-filled, pressure-free atmosphere, making lifelong learning a pleasurable experience. We encourage all interested parents and interested adults to visit the studio and interact with the teachers.

CAREER OPPORTUNITY · FINE ARTS TEACHER
Little Artists is looking for technically strong practising artists and art educators to join our teaching team in Singapore, on a Full-Time or Part-Time basis.

You will work with children and teenagers across different stages of their artistic development — from building strong foundations to more advanced Fine Arts and portfolio work.

The role involves teaching and demonstrating:
• Drawing & observational skills — pencil, charcoal, ink and pastel
• Painting — watercolour, acrylic and oil
• Fine Arts foundations — proportion, perspective, composition, colour theory and tonal development
• Subject development — portraiture, figure drawing, still life, landscape and imaginative work

We are looking for educators who can demonstrate technique clearly, observe where a student needs guidance, and help each student progress with confidence and individuality.

Previous Fine Arts teaching experience is preferred. A strong portfolio demonstrating your own technical ability is required.

Artist Spotlight: Katsushika Hokusai

Katsushika Hokusai (1760–1849) was one of Japan’s most celebrated artists, best known for his iconic woodblock print, The Great Wave off Kanagawa. Throughout his lifetime, he created thousands of artworks that captured the beauty of nature, everyday life, and the changing seasons in Japan.

Hokusai believed that an artist should never stop learning. He continued to improve his craft throughout his life, proving that passion, dedication, and curiosity are the keys to artistic growth.

At Little Artists Art Studio, we introduce our students to world-renowned artists like Hokusai to inspire creativity, broaden their artistic knowledge, and encourage them to develop their own unique style.
