Four of our ITE College East ACE students were given the opportunity to be mentees to two CAI mentors!

ACE students had the opportunity to attend the prestigious Ho Rih Hwa lecture, organized by SMU.
The invited speaker was the President of Germany, His Excellency Frank-Walter Steinmeier and he shared with the audience his thoughts and opinions on current political and global issues.

15 ACE students participated in the Freshfields Mentoring Programme. They were mentored by the lawyers from Freshfields and they went through a 3 session programme.
They learnt presentation and communication skills and had a good time interacting with their mentors.

The ACE Appointment Ceremony was held on Thursday, 9 November 2017, at the Student Activity Centre to appoint the new batch of ACE students from the Nitec and Higher Nitec courses.
Thank you to Mr Zainudin, Deputy Principal (Development) of ITE College East, for the inspiring opening address and for giving out the appointment letters.

ACE students from ITE College East were invited to attend a Malay Language forum organized by Berita Harian (Singapore Press Holdings).
GOH Minister in Prime Minister's Office Mr Chan Chung Sing impressed the students with a speech spoken in both Malay and English.

For the first time, ITE students were given the opportunity to be part of mentoring programme organized by LinkedIn and Halogen.
Together with the other mentees from the various polytechnics and universities, the ACE students learnt from the LinkedIn professionals on how to create a good LinkedIn profile, for their future use.
They also get to interact with the selected LinkedIn mentors, who have definitely enriched their minds with the vast experience that they have!

ACE students were part of the student leaders team who provided help for the Celebration of GiFTS event held on Wed, 11 Oct 2017.
As part of ITE 25th Anniversary closing ceremony, there were a total of 250 beneficiaries who were invited to ITE College East.

For the 3rd session of the ITE-Credit Suisse mentoring programme, both the mentees and mentors gathered at East Coast Park for a fun filled morning! They bonded over the task of building sandcastles and had a good discussion over various topics during their tea break.
