Art Wonderland

We are thrilled to share that Art Wonderland is partnering with National Gallery Singapore for an all-new ARTventure — a half-day creative camp designed to spark curiosity and inspire young makers!

Step into the colourful world of Southeast Asian and European Impressionism as children learn to observe light, colour, and movement just like the Masters. Through hands-on activities and guided exploration, they’ll discover the joy of plein air painting and the magic of creating art outdoors.

A key feature of this programme is an exclusive guided experience at Into the Modern: Impressionism from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston — the largest French Impressionist exhibition ever presented in Southeast Asia.

Fuelled by these artistic encounters, participants will head to the Gallery Roof Garden and Padang Deck to paint their own open-air masterpieces under the guidance of our Art Wonderland facilitators.

We’re thrilled to unveil The World We Will Build — an immersive children’s art installation at Affordable Art Fair 2025, co-created by the talented young artists of Art Wonderland and students from Republic Polytechnic’s School of Technology for the Arts, Media & Design.

🌈 Inspired by the creativity of children, futuristic dreams, and the hope for a better tomorrow, this year’s Children’s Art Studio reimagines Singapore in the year 2225 — a city where nature and technology exist in perfect harmony.

Explore the glowing Wisdom Forest, a living sculpture that grows with imagination and empathy, and step into miniature worlds that reflect how our city might look — and feel — 200 years into the future.

A huge shoutout to the incredible students from the Diploma in Arts & Theatre Management (DATM) and Diploma in Media Production & Design (DMPD) at Republic Polytechnic, who brought this vision to life through storytelling, design, and artistic collaboration.

✨ Come dream, build, and imagine the future with us!

Our students explored a new and exciting way of shading using pens! 🖊✨ Inspired by Animalium Poster Book by Katie Scott, they learned different pen techniques such as stippling and cross-hatching.
Each student picked their favourite animal and applied these techniques to create their own unique pen-shaded artwork 🐯🦉🐠. Through this activity, they not only discovered creative ways to shade but also built confidence in using pen as a medium. 💪🎨

Our students explored the theme of Nanyang Style, an art movement that started in Singapore! They learned about the artist Georgette Chen, who painted tropical fruits like mangoes and bananas using Chinese ink painting. 🎨🍌🍊

Inspired by her work, they practiced brush control and chinese ink blending to create their own vibrant fruit baskets each one full of personality and tropical flair! 🍍🍇🖌️✨

Where creativity meets confidence 🎨 In preparation for our DSA students, we provide a variety of mediums to explore different techniques. We aim to develop their skills and make their art journey less intimidating, guiding them to discover their potential along the way 🌱.
Through art, our students learn to express their thoughts and feelings while thinking critically and creatively, transforming ideas into unique artworks ✨💡.

🎉🎉 We are happy to announce that our student, Yoon Jo Lah, has been selected for (SIAC) Singapore International Arts Competition’s Top 10 Commendation award.

This is Yoon Jo's idea, showing how nature grows together. The flowers are bright and happy, and the butterflies help them bloom. The little creatures make the world more colourful and help nature stay beautiful. It shows that even the smallest things can make a big difference!
