📢 2026 NMOS Competition Details & Registration
Information
The Singapore National Mathematical Olympiad (NMO∑) is a national-level mathematics competition initiated by NUS High School in collaboration with the Singapore Mathematical Society.
The official website for 2026 NMO∑ has now released the competition date and registration timeline.

👩‍🎓 Eligibility
Open only to Primary 5 students
All participants must be registered through their own schools
Schools reserve the right to select eligible students
Individual registrations are not accepted

📅 Key Dates
Competition Date: 14 July 2026
Registration Period: 20 February – 20 March 2026

📍 The competition will be conducted within participating schools.

⏰ Schools may choose any 1 hour 30 minute slot between 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm.
➡ Please check directly with your child’s school for registration arrangements.

💰 Registration Fee
$25 per student (inclusive of 9% GST)
Fee is non-refundable once registration is confirmed

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Written paper, total of 35 questions
Calculators are not allowed

🎯 Singapore Primary Science Olympiad (SPSO 2026) – Registration & Info
Organised by NUS High School, the SPSO is Singapore’s national science Olympiad for primary students. First held in 2009, the competition aims to identify top students for the IMSO International Science Olympiad.

1⃣ Eligibility & Registration
* Open to Primary 5 students
* Students must register via their school
* Schools decide the number of participants and select eligible students

📝 Registration Period: 20 Feb – 20 Mar 2026

📅 Competition Date: 19 May 2026 (Tuesday)

2⃣ Competition Format
Language: English
Round: Theory only
Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes
🚫 No calculators allowed

3⃣ Exam Content & Structure
* Difficulty: Based on Primary Science syllabus, assessing knowledge, analytical and comprehension skills

Paper Structure:
* Section 1 – MCQs: 30 questions, 4 options each, 1 correct answer

* Section 2 – Multiple Choice Questions: 10 questions, may have multiple correct answers
