This Saturday, Serene Ong, Co-Founder of Da Di Learning Studio, will be facilitating a parenting workshop titled: “Parenting with Compassion: Raising Children with Mindfulness and Values.”

The session will feature Dr Ngiam Xin Ying, Associate Consultant in Paediatric Medicine at KKH, who will share insights on how compassionate and mindful parenting can help nurture children who are emotionally resilient, thoughtful, and grounded in strong values.

Parenting is not only about helping children achieve academically.

It is also about nurturing the inner qualities that will guide them throughout life.

This workshop invites parents to pause, reflect, and explore practical ways to cultivate mindfulness, kindness, and compassion in our children.

Last night, we were deeply honoured to host Mr Desmond Choo 朱倍庆, Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and MP for Tampines Changkat, at Da Di Learning Studio during Tampines Changkat CC's Mid-Autumn Festival celebration 🌕✨.

After a day of meeting new residents, listening to their hopes and concerns, and guiding them through their upcoming BTO journey, Mr Choo still made time to visit our centre — asking about our programmes, and encouraging us as we nurture children in Mandarin, Mindfulness, and Chinese culture.

Like the great leaders who shared the people’s joys and sorrows (与民同乐), Mr Choo leads side by side with the community — not from afar. His presence reminds us that true leadership is being with the people and for the people.
