GEG Janakpur is pleased to share a significant milestone in our ongoing effort to strengthen digital skills among educators. Through our collaborative training initiative, approximately 100 teachers and staff members from Monastic have now successfully completed the Gemini for Educators certification.
Today, in the third week of the program, 28 additional educators passed the certification exam, demonstrating their dedication to professional growth and the integration of AI tools in teaching and learning.
We commend all participating educators for their commitment and congratulate them on this achievement.

GEG Janakpur successfully conducted the second session of the “Gemini for Educator Certification Training” in collaboration with Monastic School/College.
After the first session last week—where 25 teachers earned their certification—this week’s training empowered around 30 more teachers to successfully complete the Gemini Educator Certification.
Together, we are strengthening AI readiness and digital competency among educators, helping them use Google Gemini to enhance teaching, lesson planning, assessments, and creativity in the classroom.
Thank you to all participating teachers and to the Monastic team for the strong collaboration and support.

This initiative aimed to help educators explore the power of AI in education, equipping them with practical tools and skills to make teaching and learning more engaging, efficient, and future-ready.

Proud Moment for GEG Janakpur! 🇳🇵
Our leader, Sonu Kumar, represented GEG Janakpur and Nepal at the Google for Education Champions Symposium in Singapore today!
He was one of only 6 champions selected globally to present on the topic:
“Empowering Young Entrepreneurs: How Google Blended Inside Our National Innovation Summit.”
His presentation showcased how Google tools are empowering students at the grassroots level to innovate, build, and present their entrepreneurial ideas through the National Innovation Summit hosted by Monastic School.
He was also accompanied by Kaushal Oli, Google Certified Trainer from Nepal, further strengthening Nepal’s presence on the global education innovation stage.
We are incredibly proud of this milestone and grateful to be part of a global community that’s transforming education through technology!

We are thrilled to announce the official launch of Google Educator Group (GEG) Janakpur at Monastic School/College, Janakpurdham, Nepal on March 4, 2025!
This marks a historic milestone as the 2nd GEG Chapter in Nepal, and we are excited to embark on this journey of empowering educators, enhancing digital skills, and fostering a collaborative learning network.
