COVID-19 update (July 2020):
Our classes have resumed! We now have (1) face-to-face classes and (2) online classes at 25% discounted fees.
For now, we strongly encourage students to take up 1-1 classes instead of group classes. In addition, we also offer online classes at a 25% discounted rate.

At GP Tutors Now, we believe that studying GP should (and must) be a daily activity. Unlike mathematics or physics where you can practice TYS books until you do well, the General Paper is quite a different creature entirely. It requires both consistent practice and constant feedback to correct your language mistakes and build your content archive.

GP Tutors Now is now working with SINDA (Singapore Indian Development Association) to give G.P. tuition classes to help weaker students easily improve their scores.
Since 2017, GP Tutors Now and SINDA have been conducting weekend tuition classes at Serangoon Junior College to help students improve their G.P. grades. These G.P. classes follow our Fast-Track Syllabus, and we give content, readings, notes and practices during the classes.
As students see their grades improve, we have seen a marked increase in the number of students attending our classes. At GP Tutors Now, we are always happy to be able to make a difference and help weaker students grow confident in their General Paper again.

Our class syllabus primarily focuses on the 4 areas of the GP paper ― the essay, the SAQ, the summary, and the AQ.
To do well in the GP paper, students must have master language and memorise content for the essay. And must master paraphrasing and inference skills for both the SAQ and the Summary. The AQ requires the student to understand the PEEEL format very well, and be able to invoke examples from Singapore society to support their Author evaluations.
As such, each of the core areas of the GP paper is further split into smaller specialised modules, such as, inter alia, (1) Essay Content, (2) Critical Reading & Analysis, (3) Syntactic & Semantic Paraphrasing, (4) Paragraph Structures, (5) Topic Sentence Structures.
