Congratulations to MMKB Patience class for completing Book 2! ✨💕 To celebrate their learning and achievements over the past few months, children put up a mini graduation showcase for their parents, performing a play-by-ear song and a notated piece of their choice. They did their best and carried on even when mistakes were made. Great job children!! Looking forward to progressing with all of you to Level 2 and beyond! 💪

We will be holding our first ever Choir Camp themed *Voices Around the World* from 1-3 June!

The camp will be conducted by veteran vocal teacher and MOE schools choir conductor, Ms Rosita Oskar. *The camp is open to all children regardless of whether they are enrolled in our studio*. Places are limited and will be reserved for existing students. DM us for more information!

Naomi and Sirat - friends for 2 years and counting! These girls graduated from my group keyboard programme in March, and they have decided to progress to having duet classes together! We spent an hour doing technique exercises, exploring new pieces and working on music theory questions together. Naomi quipped with a grin that “it feels like we have done so much in one lesson!” The girls ended the lesson writing down notes on what to practice on their lesson notebooks. It was nearly 6.30pm but they were still brimming with energy and enthusiasm - mostly because they had each other’s company. Loving the energy of group lessons at JHMS! 💕

Congratulations to Peace class for graduating from our Music Makers at the Keyboard programme! We were so proud of your performances that clearly showed that you were music makers in your own right, comfortable with and skilled in improvisation and making music your own! 💕🫶🏻

All of them started MMKB Book 1 at the studio when we were in our first location and stayed on until we conquered Book 6 together. 🥹 Am excited to see them grow in the next stage of their learning journey!
