Founder’s Day Celebration 2026
“Listening to the cries of the Earth & the poor”
This is the theme of this year’s Founder’s Day. We remember how Blessed Nicolas Barré continues to inspire the IJ mission to nurture generations of girls to bring God’s light and love to others. Through a skit, Mass and classroom activities, we are called to be ambassadors of peace by acting with Christ-like love, gentleness, courage, compassion and concern for the environment and the poor.

“倾听大地与贫苦者的呼声”
这是今年校庆庆典的主题。我们共同缅怀真福尼各拉·巴雷神父，并谨记他如何继续启发圣婴女校的使命——培育一代又一代的女孩，将上主的光辉与爱带给他人。
通过短剧、弥撒及课堂活动，我们受到感召，成为和平的使者，以效法基督的爱、温柔、勇气、怜悯之心，以及对环境和贫苦者的关怀，回应大地与贫苦者的需要。
All Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (CHIJ) schools in Singapore commemorate Founder's Day on May 31 every year. The occasion celebrates Blessed Nicolas Barré and the good work he did. We celebrated with a Founder’s Day Mass and sang IJ songs together. I feel proud to be a St Nicks girl. I want to be kind and helpful like Father Barré. We should uphold our motto of being simple in virtue, steadfast in duty.

Primary Section

Our school’s Chinese Dance, Choir and Guzheng girls shone at the S*F stage with outstanding performances.

Chinese Dance impressed with graceful and well-coordinated movements. Choir captivated with warm, pure voices and lively energy. Guzheng Ensemble delivered a harmonious, precise and vibrant showcase.

We are heartened by the girls’ dedication, teamwork and resilience throughout their journey, supported by devoted instructors, teachers and parents.

Well done, girls! We are so proud of all of you!
我校小学部的华族舞蹈团、合唱团和古筝团的同学在新加坡青年节（S*F）的舞台上绽放光彩，带来了精彩出色的表演。华族舞蹈团以优雅整齐的舞姿赢得赞赏；合唱团以温暖纯净的歌声和充满朝气的演绎打动人心；古筝团则以和谐流畅、精准动人的演奏展现了非凡风采。

在这段学习与备赛的旅程中，同学们展现了坚持不懈的精神、良好的团队合作以及坚强的毅力，我们深感欣慰。这一切离不开指导老师的悉心指导、学校老师和家长一路以来的支持。

Primary Section

Our Primary 5 students had a memorable experience at the Dairy Farm Outdoor Adventure Learning Centre. Through activities such as rock climbing, abseiling, team-building, and navigation, the girls showed resilience, courage, and determination while supporting one another. Living out the camp theme, “Be the Spark, Start the Action, Shape the Experience,” they stepped out of their comfort zones, built stronger friendships, and grew in confidence. We are proud of their positive spirit, camaraderie and growth throughout the camp journey! 💛
我们五年级的学生在教育部牛乳场户外探险学习中心度过了一段难忘的时光。通过攀岩、速降、团队建设和远足等项目，同学们展现了坚韧的意志、勇气和决心，并在过程中彼此扶持、互相鼓励。
在“点燃热情，主动行动，创造精彩体验”的营会主题引领下，她们勇敢地走出舒适圈，建立了更深厚的友谊，也变得更加自信。我们为她们在整个营会活动中展现出的积极精神、团队情谊与个人成长感到无比自豪！💛

✨ Expand Your Horizons (EYH) STEM Conference 2026 ✨

Two weeks ago, our Secondary 3 students stepped beyond the classroom to explore the world of STEM through hands-on workshops and real-world learning journeys. 🌍🔬

Through EYH, we aim to:

💡 Spark curiosity in Science beyond the syllabus
🚀 Provide exposure to emerging STEM fields and careers
🌱 Inspire students to see how science and innovation can create a more sustainable future

Centred on this year’s theme, “Sustainable Earth: Innovate for Change”, students engaged with real-world challenges, from Artificial Intelligence (AI) and sustainability to nanotechnology and climate science, building not just knowledge, but also confidence and agency.

【2026年中学部母语双周：当奇幻阿凡达遇见深厚南洋情】

今年的中学部母语双周，圣尼各拉校园迎来了一场奇妙的”文化碰撞”！💥谁能想到，潘多拉星球的绚丽色彩，竟然能与我们悠久的华族传统和南洋风俗融合得如此尽善尽美？💙

在“阿凡达”的引领下，姐妹们在两周内穿梭于各种精心设计的华文华语文化活动。通过生动的互动与讲解💬，姐妹们对先辈们的奋斗史以及那份深根于这片土地的文化底蕴有了更深刻的体会。

当文字从课本📕中“走出来”，化作一个个鲜活的故事和亲身体验时，母语的学习也变得格外有生命力。在与老师、同学的交流中，我们再次发现华文不仅是沟通的工具，更是承载着我们价值观与民族情感的桥梁。这份独特的文化归属感，真的让我们倍感亲切与自豪。🌿💖
