Let’s Learn About Tornadoes!
Have you ever seen videos of spinning columns of air?
That’s a tornado! 🌪
Tornadoes form during powerful thunderstorms when warm, moist air meets cold, dry air.
The change in wind speed and direction causes the air to spin rapidly.
Some tornadoes are weak, but others can destroy buildings and uproot trees.
🤩 Fun Fact
The United States experiences more tornadoes than any other country!

Have you ever seen a colorful rainbow in the sky after it rains? 🌦️✨
Rainbows appear when sunlight shines through tiny water droplets in the air.
When light passes through water, it bends.
This bending of light is called refraction.
The light then spreads out into different colors — red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet! 🌈
You can try this at home using a glass of water and a flashlight. Shine the light through the water onto a white wall and look closely — you might see tiny rainbow colors!
🤩 Fun Fact
Rainbows are actually full circles — but from the ground, we usually only see half of them!

[P6 Science and above - Adaptations]: The Great Pretender - Caterpillars exhibit fascinating adaptations for survival, one of which is their ability to mimic snakes. This mimicry serves as a defensive mechanism against predators. By adopting the appearance of a snake, some caterpillars can deter potential threats, as many animals instinctively avoid snakes due to their dangerous reputation. This adaptation not only helps them blend into their environment but also creates an illusion of size and danger, allowing them to survive until they transform into butterflies or moths.
