[SMILE Friday]

May's SMILE Fridays brought four fantastic fruits to our North Springers! Pepino Melon, Pulasan, Black Grapes and Lychees made for a month of tasting, discovering, and going back for seconds. From acquired tastes to fun surprises and sweet finishes, our North Springers experienced it all.

What a fruity finale to Term 2!

[GEM JoL Fortnight]

And just like that, our GEM JoL Fortnight draws to a close.

Joyful learning does not always look grand. Sometimes, it is found in the excitement of trying, the confidence to speak up, the courage to make mistakes, and the simple delight of learning something new.

To our PSG and parent volunteers, thank you for showing up for our children. Your time, energy, and presence added warmth to this fortnight and reminded us that when school and home move in step, our children thrive.

The fortnight may be over, but the joy and work of learning will continue.

[Global Awareness Programme: Suzhou]

It's a wrap for our Suzhou adventure!

What a journey it's been. Our North Springers stepped out of their classrooms and into the world. They came home richer with newfound confidence, deeper appreciation for a different culture, meaningful friendships and countless memories that will last a lifetime.

[GEM JoL Fortnight]

Learning looks a little different when joy sits at the centre of it.

We call it GEM JoL Fortnight where joyful learning is not an event but a part of everyday school life. Truth be told, we have not perfected this just yet but we are making a concerted effort.

We are proud of our students for how they learn - with enthusiasm, courage, and open hearts.

When our North Springers are happy, safe, and excited to come to school each day, we know something wondrous is taking root.
And so, the journey continues…

[No Cleaners’ Week]

Our North Springers took ownership of our school by cleaning classrooms, toilets and shared spaces throughout the week!

The No Cleaners’ Week was wrapped up with an appreciation session for our hardworking cleaners, as students expressed their gratitude for the care and effort they put in each day. It was a meaningful step towards building a culture of care, responsibility and appreciation within our school.

A big thank you to our parents for warmly supporting this meaningful initiative!

[Suzhou Overseas Immersion Programme]

After much anticipation (and probably a few airport snacks), our North Springers have officially arrived in Suzhou!

The adventure begins as they step into new experiences, new friendships, and a different way of learning beyond the classroom.

We were delighted to host our Taiwanese friends from Dalong Elementary School.

From joining us in classroom lessons to learning more about Singapore together during our visit to the Singapore Flyer, it was a meaningful exchange filled with laughter and shared experiences.

It was heartening to see students connect so naturally across cultures.

Home safe and all the better for it.

Our North Springers are back from Surabaya, carrying more than just precious memories. Friendships forged, confidence grown and a deeper appreciation for the world beyond our shores.

They came home more resilient, more culturally aware and more ready to take on the world. Most importantly, they represented North Spring beautifully every step of the way.
