Over 10 weeks, our North Springers travelled the world one fruit at a time. Every Friday brought something new to taste and enjoy. We hope these colourful, nutritious treats added a little extra sweetness to your week!

[LEARNING BEYOND BORDERS]

North Spring Primary School welcomed educators from Japan for a day of meaningful cultural exchange!

The day included a school tour, giving our Japanese visitors a first-hand look at NSPS life: our learning spaces, our vibrant school environment and our North Springers in action.

Our guests also joined a sharing session where educators from both countries exchanged ideas and dived into the many facets of education across our schools, opening up new perspectives along the way.

Here's to many more moments of exchange and collaboration ahead!

[National Day Celebration]

We had a vibrant celebration of Singapore's 61st National Day, embracing this year's theme, "Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond!"

The energetic National Day concert featured inspiring performances by our Show Choir, String Ensemble, and International Dance. Students also joined in the fun through an interactive NDP quiz, sang their hearts out during the sing-along session, cheered with pride alongside our Cheer Team, and got moving with a lively NDP workout.

A special thank you to our Parent Support Group (PSG) for their invaluable help, especially in creating the beautiful LEGO Wall that added to the festive spirit of the occasion.

[Heroic Moves at NSPS]

Over the past few weeks, our students have been exploring the exhibition during their Mother Tongue lessons, immersing themselves in the rich world of Chinese martial arts through interactive displays and fascinating artefacts. From learning about the history and evolution of martial arts to discovering its influence on literature, films, comics and television, the exhibition has sparked curiosity and deepened students' appreciation of Chinese language, culture and heritage.

We hope the experience continues to inspire our North Springers to explore and appreciate the richness of Chinese culture!

Recyclables in hand. Imaginations switched on. Water wheels ready to spin!

Our P3–P6 Peer Support Leaders had an engaging and meaningful training session as they learnt the CHEER model to support friends in distress.

Through activities and discussions, they learnt how to Calm a friend, Hear them out, Empathise with their feelings, Encourage them to seek help and Refer them to a trusted adult when needed.

Equipped with these valuable skills, our Peer Support Leaders are ready to make a positive difference and build a caring school community where everyone feels supported.

[Swinging into Adventure with Sun Wukong]

Our Primary 3 CL students embarked on an exciting cultural journey as they attended the Cultural Performance Exposure Scheme (CPES) drama performance at Tampines East Community Club.

They were captivated as Sun Wukong leapt, somersaulted, and battled the cunning Spider Demon in an action-packed performance filled with laughter, suspense, and spectacular stage effects. Every twist and turn kept our North Springers on the edge of their seats!

The excitement continued after the performance when our students stepped forward to meet, interact with, and learn from the performers, discovering more about the artistry and dedication behind Chinese theatre.

Every performance tells a story, and every experience brings learning to life!
