Looking for things to do during this Mid-Autumn Festival?
Join us for a magical night of family fun under the moon at our Astronomy Open House on 3 & 4 October! In partnership with NParks’ Lights by the Lake, a host of exciting activities awaits you at the Science Centre Observatory and Water Lily Pavilion in Japanese Garden. Be sure to visit both spots for the full experience!
✨ Family Activities
Take part in a festive edition of our Young Astronomer Trail, where you’ll enjoy hands-on activities and use telescopes to explore our celestial neighbourhood.
The trail and activities are free for everyone.
For fans of Young Scientist Badge, you may redeem an “I am a Young Astronomer” badge after completing the trail for just $5!
🌙 Special Planetarium Show
Catch a complimentary 15-minute live digital show at the Omni-Theatre: Fly to the Moon. Discover the mysteries of the Moon and even take a quick “trip” there and back!
Shows run every half hour from 7pm to 10pm on both nights.
Reserve your slots at the Observatory entrance.
