A night to remember, a memory to cherish. ❤️🤍

On 25 July, our Primary 5 students had the privilege of attending the National Education (NE) Show 2026 at the National Stadium, joining thousands of students across Singapore in a meaningful shared experience.

As they watched the spectacular performances, sang along to familiar National Day songs, and waved their flags with pride, our students celebrated Singapore’s journey and learnt more about the resilience, unity, and contributions of Singaporeans from all walks of life.

As Singapore embarks on a new decade of independence with the theme “Go Beyond”, may our young Singaporeans continue to dream boldly, contribute meaningfully, and inspire one another to go beyond—for themselves, for their community, and for Singapore.

Happy National Day! ❤️🤍🇸🇬

🌟 Springdalites take on the STEM Playground 2026 – Water Wheel Challenge! 🌟

After an incredible Top 10 finish last year and an exciting Marble Run Challenge, our innovative Springdalites are making a splash with Challenge 2 – Water Wheel! 💧⚙️

Armed with creativity and everyday materials, our students are designing and building water wheels that can spin for at least 5 seconds using nothing but the flow of water from a bottle. Every spin is a testament to their problem-solving skills, teamwork, and engineering mindset! 🌊💡

Watch our young innovators imagine, design, test, refine, and try again—discovering that every challenge is an opportunity to learn. Through perseverance, creativity, and resilience, they’re not just building water wheels; they’re developing future-ready skills that will serve them for years to come. 🚀🔬

👏 We couldn’t be prouder of their curiosity, determination, and courage to keep improving!

⏳ There’s still time to join the challenge! Submit your entry by 7 August and be part of this exciting STEM adventure.

💖 Show your support!
Give us a ❤️, 🔁 repost, and 📢 share this video—every like and share encourages our young innovators as they take on this nationwide STEM challenge!

Our People, Our Tapestry. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Just like a bowl of rojak, Singapore is made richer by the many cultures, traditions, and stories that come together as one. Our Racial Harmony Day commemoration began with a lively skit featuring a group of chefs who discovered that every ingredient plays an important role in creating something special. Through laughter and teamwork, our students were reminded that every individual contributes to the vibrant tapestry of our community.

The learning continued beyond the stage as students took part in interactive recess activities and lessons to deepen their understanding of Singapore’s diverse cultures and practise showing respect, empathy, and appreciation for one another.

Together, we celebrate the people who make up our shared tapestry and continue weaving a stronger, more harmonious Singapore. 🇸🇬✨

Leadership Live

Our Springdalians explored what it means to lead themselves before leading others through our talk show, “Leadership Live” As our student leaders brought a familiar classroom scenario to life, students reflected on how everyday choices—such as including someone who is left out and taking the first step—can make a meaningful difference.

Leadership isn’t defined by a badge or a title; it’s shown through our actions. When we choose courage over comfort and kindness over convenience, we begin to Model the Way and inspire others to do the same.

Here’s to nurturing Springdalians who lead with heart and create a positive ripple effect in our school community! 💙

Happy Racial Harmony Day!

This year, we celebrated Singapore’s racial harmony through something close to all our hearts — our beloved hawker culture! The children came dressed up as hawkers and learnt about this special place being a hub for people of all races to come together and share a meal. They also got to taste foods from different cultures like vegetarian dumplings, roti kirai and idly. Many flavours, one Singapore!

🌏✨ A warm welcome to our friends from The Affiliated Primary School of South China Normal University, Guangzhou!

It was a joy to host our overseas guests and share a meaningful day of learning, friendship, and cultural exchange. From classroom immersion to interactive activities, our students had the opportunity to learn alongside one another, build new friendships, and gain a deeper appreciation of different cultures.

Thank you to our dedicated students, staff, parents support group and our visiting teachers and students for making this exchange such a memorable experience. We look forward to meeting again in Guangzhou and continuing this wonderful friendship!

Together, we learn. Together, we grow. Together, we THRIVE. 💙

🌟 Ordinary Acts. Extraordinary Impact. 💛

Kindness doesn’t need an audience. It simply needs someone willing to act.

These three students chose to stand by their friends when they needed support, without being asked and without expecting anything in return. For their compassion, courage and selflessness, they were honoured with the Singapore Silent Heroes Award, presented by Ms Jasmin Lau (Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information & Ministry of Education). You can watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCVPO39IqyQ

We celebrate not just this recognition, but the values behind it. Every act of care, every helping hand, and every moment of standing up for someone else has the power to change a life.

May their actions inspire all of us to be the reason someone feels seen, valued and never alone.

Because the strongest communities are built by ordinary people who choose kindness, every single day. 💛

Together, We THRIVE: Small Acts, Big Impact 💙

This semester, our Principal Mrs Quek encouraged every Springdalite to:

• Be better than yesterday.
• Choose courage over comfort.
• Help someone else thrive.

Building on this message, every class reflected on kindness, respect and speaking up against bullying before creating their own class promises.

Because creating a safe and caring school isn’t about one big moment—it’s about the small choices we make every day.

One kind word. One brave voice. One helping hand.

Together, We THRIVE. 💙
