We’re stoked to be backing YCK Yellow Bears in Season 2 of Fit5s, a cool initiative by .

Fit5s isn’t your typical 5-a-side competition. It’s designed for men and women with a BMI over 30, and the goal isn’t about winning games—it’s about dropping as much weight as possible over 16 weeks. Last season’s top player lost a whopping 12.7 kg!

There are ways we can reduce its likelihood.

Prioritize this 3 things and your chances of injury will dramatically reduce.

1️⃣Learn a warm up routine catered to your needs
🔘 Some people need longer or more complexed routines , some don’t.
🔘 YouTube is a good way to start, but you are unique, play around with some or if you can’t figure it out, hit me up for advice.

2️⃣ Form and Technique
🔘 Each of us are built different. Find your groove.
🔘 Our starting point is different. Find yours and work your way up. It’s a journey!

3️⃣ Rest Periods
🔘 Tried some new exercise or style of training, need a longer rest? Do it !
🔘 Rest periods are also a great time to think about what could be improved on your next set or make new friends, you do you !
