The boy groaned in dismay when he realised that he had completely forgotten about his Math exam. He has been engrossed in playing PS5 the entire week, and despite of his parents' constant warning, he decided to waste his time.
The ticking of the classroom clock seemed to grow louder and louder, echoing the tension in the air. My gaze was locked on it. It felt like a wild race against time. My conscience kicked me, and I was torn between the devil and the angel within me.
