Part 3 of 3 | Our Journey at Enabling Village -The End (Future) 31st Mar 2021

That being said, we hope to also share with you our exciting plans in the coming months. With the unwavering support of those who strongly believe in our work, we persist in our endeavour to empower and nurture creative confidence within our future generations. At the heart of it all, to inspire compassion for the less privileged.

We look forward to sustaining relations with all stakeholders - both in the public and private spheres - who have reached out to us through collaborations and partnerships. And most importantly, to continue building an inclusive creative community that have grown with us in the last 5 years.

What started out as a personal passion has come full circle as we once again move forward into a renewed sense of passion and purpose in fulfilling our cause.

Part 2 of 3 | Our Journey at Enabling Village -The People

The decision was made difficult as it was within this space that our social enterprise developed and evolved itself, and beautiful memories were forged with the people who graced the space with their presence and support. We are very grateful for the opportunities given, through our workshops, learning journeys and events, to share our narrative and vision.

At this juncture, we would also like to extend our apologies for any shortcomings or oversights in our fierce and relentless pursuit of our goal to create a more inclusive society.

Part 1 of 3 | Our Journey at Enabling Village -The Beginnings 01/08/19

It is with profound sadness and deeply-tied emotions, that we would like to officially announce that we will be moving out from our current premises over Enabling Village. This difficult decision came after much careful deliberation.

The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic proved to be our biggest challenge to date. Just as how it has affected the livelihoods of many, our social enterprise was not spared from its repercussions. Most concretely, it has severely compromised our capacity to retain a humble physical space.

We are proud to showcase our artwork for SG Cares Giving Week Tote Bag 2020.

It was conceptualised by our Creative Lead, Firdaus, to feature individuals that performed remarkable acts of kindness. With the help of JAL's resident artist, Derry Lam, the duo created the artwork entirely using PowerPoint. A lot of thought, planning and details have gone into it. You might even see some familiar faces. We are proud to be part of SG Cares Giving Week 2020, which is jointly organised by SG Cares, NVPC and NCSS.

(Psst. We have hidden 7 Care Packs and JAL's Mascot, Junior. See if you can spot them.)
