The easiest IB Maths pick often has the weakest results and most students don’t find out until it‘s too late.

• AA HL → almost 1 in 4 get a 7
• AI HL → ~8%
• AA SL → ~8% (lower mean grade)
• AI SL → ~3%

Stop memorising the PED formula.
Instead, visualise it.
A rubber band explains price elasticity of demand better than pages of notes.
✅ Elastic demand = a small price change leads to a large change in quantity demanded.
✅ Inelastic demand = even a large price change causes only a small change in quantity demanded.
Once you see it, you’ll never forget it.

In IB Math, “show that” questions already give you the answer. Your job isn’t to solve. It’s to prove.
Most students write correct steps but skip the logic that connects them. Examiners can’t award marks for what you didn’t show.
