Our P4–P6 students had an engaging Book Buzz session today, conducted by National Library Board in celebration of Earth Day.
Through storytelling and discussion, students were introduced to three meaningful titles that highlight the importance of caring for our planet and the role each of us plays in protecting the environment.
Do take the opportunity to bring your child to borrow these titles. Alternatively, they can also be accessed online via Libby (https://libbyapp.com/).
It was a definitely a good opportunity for our students to deepen their awareness, reflect on real-world issues and grow as thoughtful readers and responsible global citizens.

This year, 36 New Towners took part in the Queen’s Commonwealth Writing Competition — a wonderful opportunity for them to stretch their imagination and express their ideas with confidence.
We’re delighted to share that our students achieved 17 Bronze, 3 Silver, and 2 Gold Awards! An amazing achievement! All other participants also received Certificates of Participation for their effort, courage, and willingness to try.
A huge congratulations to all our winners — your hard work and creativity shine brightly! May you continue to write boldly to express your thoughts and hopes!
