Zion Bishan Kindercare

Dressed proudly in red and white, we gathered in the sanctuary to celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday! The children listened to the Singapore story, waved their flags with excitement while singing along with the familiar National Day songs and took part in workout and games that filled the school with festive cheer. Through fun and engaging ways, we continue to nurture our little ones to learn about unity, love, and pride for our nation!

Today, ZBK community came together to celebrate Racial Harmony Day, an annual event in Singapore that promotes understanding, respect, and appreciation among people of different cultures.

The children participated in a variety of activities that highlighted traditions and values from around the world. These including ethnic costume parade, cultural games, sing-a-long and storytelling sessions.

By introducing our preschoolers the richness of cultural diversity, they learned that while we may have different customs, languages, and appearances, kindness and respect are values we all share.

It was a special day at ZBK as we celebrated Parents' Day with our little ones and their amazing families!

We kicked off the day with the children performing songs and dances for their parents with immense enthusiasm. It was then followed by fun and heart-warming parents-child activities. The children also learnt to express their gratitude, love and appreciation through making handmade crafts for the people who care for them every day.

Our little ones brought so much joy with their handmade cards and gift baskets to Bishan Home for the Intellectually Disabled. The smiles shared between children and seniors reminded us that kindness knows no age. 💞

Our Nursery and Kindergarten children had a fin-tastic adventure at the Oceanarium! The children were thrilled and amazed when coming face-to-face with all the majestic sea creatures such as stingrays, dugongs and sharks. They had great fun exploring the fascinating sea world through the interactive exhibits. Beyond the fun, it was a meaningful experience for them to learn about marine life, ocean conservation and the importance of caring for our environment.

The playgroup and pre-nursery children, together with their parents, embarked on an unforgettable adventure to the Hay Dairies Goat Farm last week for an enriching educational farm tour! From observing the milking process up close to feeding the friendly goats, it was certainly a day filled with excitement and learning for all!
