Our little ones brought so much joy with their handmade cards and gift baskets to Bishan Home for the Intellectually Disabled. The smiles shared between children and seniors reminded us that kindness knows no age. 💞

Our Nursery and Kindergarten children had a fin-tastic adventure at the Oceanarium! The children were thrilled and amazed when coming face-to-face with all the majestic sea creatures such as stingrays, dugongs and sharks. They had great fun exploring the fascinating sea world through the interactive exhibits. Beyond the fun, it was a meaningful experience for them to learn about marine life, ocean conservation and the importance of caring for our environment.

The playgroup and pre-nursery children, together with their parents, embarked on an unforgettable adventure to the Hay Dairies Goat Farm last week for an enriching educational farm tour! From observing the milking process up close to feeding the friendly goats, it was certainly a day filled with excitement and learning for all!

What a joyful Easter celebration we had at ZBK today! The children learnt about Jesus’ love and resurrection in fun, meaningful ways from storytelling about Easter to songs of praise, games and crafts. May this new hope and life that Easter brings bless all with peace , love and grace!

Our children arrived at school today in beautiful traditional Malay attire for Hari Raya cultural day celebration. Everyone embraced the festive spirit through traditional Malay songs, dance and also participated in games. To conclude the celebration, all children created and brought home a craft specially made for the festival. The event helped to foster cultural understanding and the spirit of inclusivity and unity that defines the ZBK community.

The Festival of Lights was celebrated in our centre today. The children discovered the wonders of this beautiful festival which reminds us to be kind, to share with others, and to bring light and happiness wherever we go. They came together to learn about the traditional Indian costumes wore and special treats made for this special occasion as well as how this joyous festival is celebrated around the world. Our little ones, dressed in vibrant traditional attire, had a wonderful time dancing to Indian music and immersed in the beautiful traditions of Deepavali through making rangoli art.

The annual Children's Day is here again. It is the happiest day for the kids as they enjoyed the games and fun activities organised by the teachers and parent volunteers. The day was filled with laughter that brought out the biggest smiles on our little ones' faces. Yummy ice cream was served after lunch and all felt contented to return home with the loving gifts received from the school and teachers.

Dressed in vibrant outfits reflecting the colors of our national flag, ZBK children gathered at the sanctuary today to joyfully celebrate National Day. The celebration’s highlight was the heartfelt singing of the national anthem and songs, along with the recitation of our pledge—expressing the children’s love, respect, and unity for Singapore. Loud cheers filled the air as the children took part in a variety of exciting games such as “Row Your Boat,” “Balance the Bucket,” “Sack on Your Back,” “The Esplanade,” and more, each offering a fun way to learn about Singapore’s rich background and history. It was truly a day of pride, joy and togetherness as we marked our nation’s 60th birthday!

The children wore colorful traditional costumes of different ethnic groups to school to celebrate Racial Harmony Day yesterday. Through a series of activities, such as watching videos on the theme of racial harmony, sampling traditional food and participating in various traditional games, the children learned to respect and appreciate each other's culture and traditions in joy, and further realized the beauty and importance of multiculturalism.
