The pink tower is one of the basic and most versatile Montessori material which allows the child to develop fine-motor skills, compare and sequencing, counting, sorting, and comparing the cubes based on size or volume. This is a precursor to mathematical concepts such as seriation, volume, and geometric relationships.

This is one of the reasons each child going through the Montessori curriculum develops a deep understanding in the concepts, logic and solid foundation in mathematics.
