Kitchen Crime Alert!
Why was Stitch banned from the kitchen?
Because… he tried to microwave Scrump!
Today’s grammar mischief: subordinating conjunction — because.
It’s the magic glue that connects a reason to a result.

It’s been a while since we posted on Monday Muse. Today, we continue the tale of the bear who’s got more fluff than self-confidence.
After a little chit-chat with a kindred friend, he’s finally reconciled with his body insecurities.
Well... even the fluffiest bears can find their bear-y happy place!

Breakfast was quack-tastrophic when Goofy flung a pancake onto Donald’s face… not once, not twice, but three times!
Donald went from irate, to seething, to full-on livid!
Moral of the story: never throw pancakes at a duck’s face.
Someone hand this duck a napkin… or maybe a therapist!

Raise your hand if you've ever said “furnitures” or "luggages"!

Spoiler: Furniture and luggage are not countable! But “tables”, "chairs" and suitcases are!

Countable nouns are things you can count: 1 apple, 2 burgers, 3 dog, a thousand laughs!

If you can say "a" or add an "s", it’s probably countable!

Today’s Monday Muse is brought to you by A.A. Milne and a bear with a bit of a body crisis — too much anxiety, not "slim" enough, and a bottomless pit of self-doubt.

It’s humorous, and (un-fur-tunately) pretty darn relatable too, especially in a world so obsessed with image.

Stay tuned for part 2, where we continue the tale of this image-conscious bear.

Today on Wordsmith Wednesday, we’re about to discover that even in a lackluster world, words can still sparkle!

From Queen Grimhilde’s faded photographs to drab skies above Mickey’s picnic, dull has never looked so dramatic!

This InTense Tuesday, things are a little tense between proper and common nouns. Well, as you know... Not all nouns are created equal—some get capitalized and their own fan base, and some are just... common folks trying to make a sentence work.

Today on Monday Muse, Milne reminds us that friendship is one of life’s sweetest treasures. When life gets a little messy or things are falling apart, remember: Good friends, like Pooh’s honey or Pooh himself, can help stick it all back together!

And the secret to finding one?

Just follow the sticky-sweet trail of honey through the Hundred Acre Wood! :P
