Children are born to be artists! They like to paint everywhere, leaving their "works" on the wall, on the table, on the paper. The creative process and works of young children are an important way for them to express their thoughts and emotions.

In Moriah Preschool, we stimulate children's interest and enrich their aesthetic experience. We also ensure that they experience the joy of free expression and creation.

The children had an awesome celebration as they were introduced and invited to make the different Malay traditional Kueh. They enjoyed the hands-on process of making it their own and tasted the yummy kueh that gives them much satisfaction too! In addition the satay booth which they were all excited about it as they observed the traditional style of bbq. We were impressed by the amount of satay that they can eat too. 😋

‘ Policeman , Policewoman , Traffic Police ! ‘
We hear you children ! Let’s go on adventure on finding more about the different type of police job scope. 😀

It was an amazing experience for the children as they listen attentively to the guide as they share more about a police officer. Furthermore the children were also introduced to the various changes that takes place as the time goes by and observed the older days of police uniform and badges etc.

On the theme about ‘ Neighbourhood Amenities’ the early years children explored on Library. During the field trip , the children learnt about the rules in the library and what are some of the fun things they can do in there! It is essential to build their love for books at a young age too.

‘ Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader‘

The PG children were introduced on ways to care for themselves . The various hands on activities planned, encouraged the children to perform the daily tasks independently.

The K2 children learnt about measurement concepts through these interesting activities . They were invited to use cubes to measure the objects in the classroom. With this exposure of measuring in non- standard unit , children are now aware that measuring can be conducted through different type of tools.

共享好“食”光
在“我的学校”和“我的朋友”单元主题活动中，为了让小朋友们喜欢上幼儿园，能够和同学们尽快熟悉起来，成为好朋友，老师邀请家长们一起配合开展了此次野餐活动。美味野餐时刻，小朋友们都分享了自己准备的食物，其乐融融，尽情享受着美味，与老师、同伴们一起享受着夏日里野餐的美好，放肆地笑、开心地吃、欢乐的畅聊、愉快地玩耍，充分感受到了集体的温暖与快乐！留下了美好的回忆！

In relation to the theme on My school and My friends, the K1 children had a mini picnic outside the school . They enjoyed the natural breeze and also each other company. They were happily chit chatting and tasting the yummy snacks which they pot luck.

A big thank you to parents for being so supportive and providing the children with such a memorable experience with their peers. ❤️

On the theme about Pets , we invited special guests over to let the children experience interacting with dogs and understand more on their behaviour . Through observations , discussions and questioning, the children gained lots of new knowledge about caring for a pet . It was definitely a memorable learning journey .

P.S. The children couldn’t bear to see the cute little doggies leave the school. ❤️🥰
