Meet Thaddaeus, our Curtin Singapore alumnus who graduated in 2024 and has since embarked on an exciting career journey with a global industry-leading logistics organisation.

In his current role, Thaddaeus supports local and regional distribution operations for a healthcare client, leading a team to manage day-to-day operations, meet customer requirements, and ensure orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and operational standards.

Beyond operations management, he works closely with stakeholders across IT, Quality, Business Development, HR, and external vendors, gaining valuable experience in cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, and delivering solutions in a dynamic global business environment. Thaddaeus’ journey reflects the impact of a Curtin education in preparing graduates with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in the workplace and contribute meaningfully to their chosen industries.

The symposium brought together clinicians, educators, researchers, students and industry partners to exchange ideas, strengthen collaborations, and explore how nursing education and research can contribute to better healthcare outcomes in Singapore.
The event also showcased Curtin Nursing's strategic direction in education, research and industry engagement, creating opportunities for meaningful discussions, partnership building, and future-focused research initiatives that will shape the future of nursing.
The Authors Writing Workshop was also held at the event, where participants gained practical insights into writing and structuring a manuscript, responding effectively to peer reviewers, and the responsible use of AI in academic publishing.

Thank you to everyone who joined Curtin Singapore's International Acts of Service event! It was an inspiring morning of creativity, connection, and giving back to the community.

In partnership with City Sprouts Singapore, participants transformed upcycled materials into unique works of art while learning about environmental stewardship, waste reduction, and the circular economy. The workshop was especially meaningful as it was led by eco-art trainers with special needs, who generously shared their creativity, skills, and personal stories, inspiring us all.

It was wonderful to see our alumni, students, and staff come together to reconnect, build new friendships, and contribute towards a more sustainable future.
