🏹 Bows Up, Game On! 🎯

Our Inter-UG Archery Tag brought together cadets from Scouts, NCC, NCDCC and NPCC for an action-packed afternoon of fun, teamwork and friendly competition!

With the tests behind them, our cadets swapped books for bows, strategised with their teammates and cheered one another on through every round. 💪🔥

More than just a chance to unwind, the event was about building friendships, strengthening bonds across our Uniformed Groups and creating shared memories beyond their individual CCAs.

🏀 Up Close with the Rising Stars of 3x3 Basketball! 🇸🇬

Our Montfort Basketballers had an exciting opportunity to catch the action at the FIBA 3x3 U23 Nations League and get up close with some of Singapore’s rising basketball stars! 🔥

Beyond witnessing the intensity and skill of international 3x3 basketball, our boys were inspired by the dedication and passion of our Singapore athletes — and even managed to snap a few memorable photos with them! 📸

Our Secondary 2 students took on the challenge at the 2026 Elementz Science Project Competition, with three teams putting their curiosity, creativity and scientific thinking into action.

From coming up with their own problem statements to planning investigations, analysing their findings and presenting their work to a panel of judges, our students embraced every step of the journey — learning, experimenting and having fun along the way. Congratulations to one of our teams for clinching a Bronze Award!

More than the award, we are proud to see our students embody the Scholar in every sense — curious minds who ask questions, seek answers and are not afraid to explore the unknown.

Last Friday on 21 August, our staff and students came together for the Montfortian Gabrielite Education Institutions (MGEI) Sports Fiesta. It was an afternoon filled with fun, friendly competition and opportunities to bond across our schools! 🤝

Our boys competed in the Under-14 Football and E-Sports tournaments, putting their skills, teamwork and determination on full display. Meanwhile, our staff stepped onto the field and gave their all in the Staff Football and Captain’s Ball tournaments.

Beyond the competition, the Fiesta was a wonderful celebration of camaraderie, sportsmanship and the Montfortian spirit. Well done to everyone who participated and made the afternoon a memorable one! 👏

Our Montfortians are making their mark in the digital world! 💻🚀

The National Digital Explorer (NDE) is a nationwide digital literacy programme that equips students with internationally recognised ICDL certifications while challenging them to showcase their digital skills on the national stage.

This year, 13 of our students successfully earned ICDL certifications across a range of future-ready domains, including Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentations, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence. 🌟

An even bigger milestone awaits! We are incredibly proud that three of our Montfort boys have been named among the Top 50 finalists nationwide for the NDE 2026 National Round, an outstanding achievement that reflects their dedication, perseverance, and passion for digital innovation.

Our Sec 3 and 4 Literature students took on the National Schools Literature Festival (NSLF) Unseen Poetry Debate and Set Text Roundtable, putting their critical thinking, literary insight and confidence on full display.

Our Sec 3 team emerged as winners of their Unseen Poetry Debate round, while Trivin (4 Humility) clinched the Text Expert Award in the Set Text Roundtable! 👏

Learning comes alive when it extends beyond the pages of a textbook! 📚➡️🌍

At LearnFest, our Montfortians stepped out of the classroom and into authentic learning experiences that connected their lessons to the real world. Through geographical investigations, students explored the city around them, gaining a deeper appreciation of urban planning and the spaces that shape our everyday lives.

At the Science Centre, they immersed themselves in the wonders of science, sparking curiosity and inspiring a passion for discovery beyond the classroom. Meanwhile, the Math Amazing Race challenged students to apply mathematical concepts to solve real-world problems in a fun, engaging, and dynamic environment.✨

🏕️ Secondary One Level Camp 2026 🏕️

From kayaking and trekking to outdoor cooking and team-building challenges, our Secondary One Montfortians embraced every opportunity to learn, grow, and support one another during their 3-day camp from 20–22 May.

Through resilience, teamwork, and perseverance, they overcame challenges together while building strong friendships and valuable leadership skills. More importantly, they demonstrated the values of respect, compassion, and humility, looking out for one another every step of the way. 💪

Montfort Secondary School Annual Cross Country at Sengkang Riverside Park was filled with energy, excitement, and plenty of school spirit! Despite the gloomy skies, all our Montfortians showed great determination and resilience, successfully completing their runs just before the rain arrived.

A big congratulations to Berthomieu House for emerging as this year’s champion house! 🏆 We also commend every participant for the countless hours of training, perseverance, and effort put into preparing for the event. Well done, Montfortians!

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all student volunteers, teachers, and parents who contributed in one way or another to make this event possible. Your support, encouragement, and dedication played a vital role in the success of the event.

Our B Division NSG Football Team wraps up their season with a commendable 4th place finish in League 1 ⚽💪🏽

More than the result, this season was defined by resilience, discipline, and brotherhood. Through every training and match, our footballers showed grit, heart, and pride in the Montfort jersey 💙
