At the recent 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝗺 𝗛𝘄𝗲𝗲 (Principal Lecturer & Consultant, AI Strategy & Organizational Transformation Practice, NUS-ISS) joined the panel 𝘿𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘼𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩 𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙧 𝘼𝙄 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙨 to discuss what governments must do as cyberattacks become more autonomous, adaptive and machine-paced.

From deepfakes and rapid exploit generation to emerging agent-driven attacks, the threat landscape is evolving fast. Kim Hwee highlighted the need for 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀, 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, where AI can help detect vulnerabilities, accelerate remediation and enable more resilient, self-healing systems.

But resilience goes beyond technology. 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, requiring accountability, safety, workforce readiness and public trust.

Through 𝗣𝗣𝗧+𝗫, 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗫𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, he also underscored the need for stronger collaboration across government, industry, academia and the supply chain.
