Big congratulations to XPD alumnus Givson Ong, recipient of the prestigious DesignSingapore Scholarship 2026!
His journey began at SP Media, Arts & Design, where he learnt to turn human insights into meaningful physical and digital experiences. That foundation carried him through Industrial Design at NUS—and now towards Innovation Design Engineering at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London.

From writer to video producer and now Social Media Lead, SP MAD alumna Ms Syahindah Ishak has built a career around shaping stories that inform, engage and connect with audiences. Today, she leads a team at Mothership , curating content across social media platforms and covering everything from current affairs and entertainment to environmental issues and beyond.
Syahindah graduated from the Diploma in Creative Writing for Television and New Media (DTVM), now the Story & Content Creation (SCC) specialisation under the Diploma in Media, Arts & Design (DMAD).

📸💥Ever wondered what it’s like to shoot a 16mm film on an LED stage? Join us for a talk with filmmakers Mark Chua and Lam Li Shuen, where they’ll break down how they’re blending old‑school film with Unreal Engine for their horror short named, “The Calling”.
The film is currently in pre‑production, so this is a rare chance to see how it’s being built before filming begins and maybe even be part of the crew!
