Camp FORGE 19/12/2012

Camp FORGE is a camp that all Secondary 1 cadets will get to attend. Cadets will be exposed to activities such as rock climbing, archery, and abseiling. They will also get to experience the Flying Fox tower, which involves leaping off a four storey tower only attached to a harness. Camp FORGE promises to offer a glimpse into the many activities that the NCC has to offer.

Sea Proficiency Training 19/12/2012

Cadets are taught the basics of navigation, seaman terminology, ropework, splicing etc as part of the comprehensive Sea syllabus that the NCC (Sea) has to offer.

SAR-21 Individual Marksmanship Trainer 11/08/2012

Cadets got a chance to practice with the SAR-21 by firing infrared rounds at moving targets, specially arranged at the Singapore Discovery Centre for National Cadet Corps cadets. Cadets were given a quick introduction to the rifle and got to experience the whole package, including using the 1.5X optical scope.

The marching contingent consisted of 27 specially selected cadets from Secondary 1, 2 and 3.

126th Founder's Day Parade 25/07/2012

Every year, the Uniformed Groups of Anglo Chinese School (Barker Road) get together in one massive parade in front of the entire school. Drawing from a select group of cadets to represent the unit, the ACSBR NCC unit marched proudly in front of the school, with the flag flying high.

Jungle Survival Programme @ Pulau Ubin 25/07/2012

Cadets were taught the basic fundamentals of jungle survival on a 2 day 1 night camp on Ubin. They learnt things such as how to skin live frogs, how to start fire from the most basic of materials, immediate first aid and even how to identify and eat off the island's flora and fauna!
