Our National Day celebration was filled with joyful moments as children came together to celebrate Singapore’s rich culture, traditions, and community.

From creative activities to hands-on experiences, our little learners explored the spirit of National Day through meaningful discovery and connection.

It was a beautiful day of learning, laughter, and togetherness across all our school locations, celebrating not only our nation, but also the friendships and shared experiences that bring our community together every day.

Through hands-on geography activities, children explore continents, oceans, and the many places that make up our world. As they match colours, trace landmasses, and piece maps together, they begin to recognise where different parts of the world fit and how they connect.

These experiences are about more than learning names and locations. They encourage children to observe closely, make connections, and develop a growing curiosity about the world around them.

Earlier this month, we welcomed families to Nest Preschool Hillview for the first session of our Montessori at Home Series, part of our Series.

Together with Ms. Debra Stacey Lim, Senior Montessori Mentor at Guidepost Global Education, we explored how everyday moments can become meaningful opportunities for learning. Through hands-on activities and open discussions, families discovered practical ways to invite children into daily routines, foster independence, and recognize when to step in and when to give them the space to try for themselves.

It was wonderful to see our community come together, share experiences, and discover new ways to support children’s growing confidence at home.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. Here’s to finding learning in the little moments and giving children more opportunities to say, “I can do it myself.” 🌱

There is something special about giving children the freedom to discover beyond the four walls of the classroom. During our recent outdoor outing, our Toddler and Children’s House classes from the Hillview campus headed to Chu Yen Playground to bring this belief to life!

Every climb, every leaf collected, and every bark rubbing became an opportunity to observe, question, and connect with the world around them.

As the children moved, played, and explored beyond the classroom walls, they strengthened their coordination, nurtured their natural curiosity, and developed a deeper connection with nature.

Body safety doesn’t begin with “stranger danger.” It begins with trust, communication, and everyday conversations at home.

Join us for the next in-person workshop and discover how children can begin learning about body safety from infancy and toddlerhood in age-appropriate, respectful and empowering ways.

Together, we’ll explore how simple daily interactions help children build body awareness, confidence and the language to express their needs. Rather than teaching fear, this session focuses on creating a strong foundation of trust, respect and open communication from the very beginning.

Flour on little hands, big smiles all around! 🌾✨

Some of the most meaningful learning happens when children experience the world with all their senses. During our recent learning journey to Tiny Mill, our families dived into a sensory-rich adventure of noodle making, art, and flour play.

Every activity was designed to spark curiosity, allowing the children to explore, paint, and create at their own pace. By mixing, scooping, and discovering independently, they strengthened their fine motor skills and problem-solving abilities. It was a wonderful way for them to build immense confidence through real-world experiences.

The sweetest part of the day? Sharing these joyful, messy moments with family, turning foundational learning into memories that last a lifetime. 🤍
