Maths becomes much more interesting when numbers and calculations are combined with fun, hands-on activities! At KKIS – Hindoo Road, our Grade 3 students explored 3D shapes by using clay and toothpicks to build their own models.

As they created different shapes, students were able to identify and count their faces, edges, and vertices through practical exploration. This engaging activity made the concept more meaningful while encouraging creativity, curiosity, and learning by doing.
