New Year resolutions might be a little...… overrated.
Not because goals are bad, but because January can create this pressure to “reinvent yourself” overnight.
A lot of resolutions don’t stick for a simple reason:
—— > they’re often built on motivation (which fades), not a plan (which lasts).
What tends to work better:
> Choose a direction, not a perfect timeline.
———> “I want to be healthier” becomes “I’ll move my body 3x a week.”
> Make it smaller than you think.
———> The goal isn’t a dramatic change. It’s something you can actually repeat.
> Focus on consistency over intensity.
———> Doing a little, often, beats doing a lot, once.
Honestly, a “reset” doesn’t need to happen on January 1st. It can happen on any random Tuesday.
Question: What’s one simple habit you’re focusing on this year (or this week)?
