After a restful March Holiday break, we are ready to lock in 🎯 and start our main character arc 🦸🏻‍♂️🦸🏻‍♀️🌟 let’s max out our stats in attendance, attentiveness, assignment, appearance, and attitude this term!

How well do our teachers know their students? 🤔 Two of our Sec 1 Class Mentors battle it out on the last day of Term 1. Which GOATed CM can identify more students just from their voice and emerge victorious?! 🔥

How do we enhance literacy and empower Orchidians beyond the regular curriculum? READ@OPSS 📖 inculcates in Orchidians the love of reading through 15 minutes of silent reading during morning assembly - an English Language book on most days and a Mother Tongue Language book on Thursdays. Orchidians also volunteer to share about their favourite reads with the whole school every Monday morning as part of “Lit Drop” 📚🫳

👨🏻‍🍳🍳 THEY COOKED! Literally. This term, our Sec 1s experienced outdoor cooking in both their Physical Education (PE) and Food and Consumer Education (FCE) lessons. Through this interdepartmental collaboration, the students saw the connections across different subjects and enhanced their future-readiness through learning real-world skills 🥘
