What an incredible experience at SEMICON SEA 2026 in Kuala Lumpur! From 5-7 May 2026, we had the opportunity to showcase our RF GaN technologies and discuss how theyโre powering the future of communications. We also shared how our boutique foundry services are helping transform ideas into innovative semiconductor products.

๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ ๐๐๐๐ was a great opportunity to catch up with the global RF community. It was a diverse turnout, with participants from ๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ all in one place to discuss the future of semiconductors.
Prof. Ng Geok Ing represented our team, speaking on the shift toward sub-THz frequencies and the strategic role GaN-on-Si will play in that evolution. It was great to get a firsthand look at the industryโs roadmap and see where semiconductor technology is heading over the next few years.
Huge thanks to Incize for a fantastic event. We are looking forward to building on these insights as we continue to drive our research forward in the global RF landscape. ๐ค

On 27 March, Prof. Ng Geok Ing led an engaging session on "GaN RF Electronics: Technology Landscape and Singaporeโs Journey". The lecture provided a broad look at the active research topics shaping the field today and how our local ecosystem is evolving.
It was great to see such a strong turnout from the local R&D community and bright minds from Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and various universities. There is clearly a lot of interest in where Singaporeโs semiconductor landscape is headed next, and we enjoyed the discussion that followed.

NSTIC (GaN) is happy to be part of the joint research alongside the teams at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU) and Soitec behind the 6G milestones shared at MWC 2026.
These milestones are a step toward making 6G practical for everyday use. By achieving high efficiency at low voltage, this research addresses one of the biggest hurdles in bringing next-generation mobile performance to the palm of your hand.
It is great to see the work getting the global attention it deserves at such a major event. Congratulations to the teams at NTU and Soitec on a successful announcement in Barcelona! We look forward to seeing this momentum continue. ๐

Our team recently returned from the 10th IEEE Electron Devices Technology and Manufacturing (EDTM) Conference in Malaysia. It was a great opportunity to share our latest technical milestones and connect with the global semiconductor community.
Key Highlights:
๐ธ Prof. Ng Geok Ing shared joint NSTIC (GaN) - NTU research on GaN-on-Si HEMTs specifically for low-voltage applications
๐ธ Xie Qingyun presented our paper on a CMOS-Compatible 200 mm 0.25 ฮผm GaN-on-Si HEMT Process for FR3 Application, detailing our latest developments in scalable technology
These efforts are all about bridging the gap between the lab and high-volume manufacturing. By focusing on CMOS-compatible, scalable designs, weโre working to make high-performance GaN more accessible for the next generation of telecommunications.
