It is a privilege for the Maris Stella High School Chinese Orchestra to be able to put up a performance at Gardens by the Bay on 23 February 2018. Our Marists played various traditional Chinese New Year songs such as 大地回春, 恭喜发财 and 金蛇狂舞.

今年我们海星华艺母语双周的主题是“中华武术”，而昨天我们很荣幸邀请到了世界武术冠军兼本地艺人翁清海先生到我校教同学们基本拳。希望大家能够亲身体验习武的乐趣，感受中华文化的魅力，并将武术精神发扬光大！

Chinese New Year is coming soon! We are very honoured to have our alumni members, Dr Ng Chun Teck and Mr Low Hong Tuck to teach Marists how to write Spring Couplets in our school this morning. Thank you, Dr Ng and Mr Low!

Maris Stella High School's 60th Anniversary Celebrations

2018 marks the 60th anniversary of our school's founding in 1958. The theme of the 60th Anniversary Celebrations is 'Rejoice. Reunion. Rejuvenate' in English and '甲子情 海星梦' in Chinese.

As we celebrate our 60th anniversary, we rejoice in our heritage and remember those who planted the seeds of our educational vision. We want to have a grand reunion of all Marists, past and present, back in school. All Marists are part of a brotherhood of those who have gone through the unique experience of a Marist education. Once a Marist, always a Marist! Our 60th Anniversary celebrations will rejuvenate our efforts to take the school to a higher level.

Maris Stella in N.E.mation!12

The N.E.mation! is an annual inter-school digital animation competition organised by Nexus, for students from secondary schools, junior colleges and centralised institutes to express their thoughts on Total Defence. We are pleased to announce that a team of Marists, Team WaterHydrates is one of the top 10 teams in the national N.E.Mation!12. NIC Face-Off | Coding – Ace of Coders 2017

The IMDA 2017 Ace of Coders National Infocomm Competition is a competition organised to celebrate the best and brightest student developers in Singapore. It is co-organised by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), National Infocomm Competition and the National University of Singapore (NUS). Top coders competed in front of a live audience and the most talented coders defeated competitors in a fantasy gaming competition.

Yap Jun Hong, Lim Ze Kai, Lim Kai Jie and Wong Siang Yu from Secondary 3C represented our school in this competition held at the National University of Singapore on 11 November 2017. Lim Ze Kai and Wong Siang Yu clinched the 2nd runner-up position. Congratulations to Ze Kai and Siang Yu for their achievement!
