Finished off an apple 🍎 from the back of the fridge (leftovers from an experimental apple strudel which went quite well - kudos to daughter cook👩‍🍳🤗💪🏼) ~ cooked the apple with some spare ribs and all the usual ‘warming tummy’ suspects like ginger and pepper corns with pitted red dates in a soup | highly recommend this cookbook because the food is nutrition-dense and gut-warming for the young and old

One doesn’t need to look far to find out why bullying occurs ~ if we look at ourselves in the mirror, we notice we are pretty hard on ourselves ; if you cannot even hold yourself safely, how can you hold a child safely? Be gentler with yourself and calm, then you can make a wise decision ~ the good thing about mindfulness is that it is extremely forgiving ; we are aware, and we will do better next🙏🏼

I cooked the “Spicy Spaghetti & Turkey Meat Sauce” from the cookbook “So Easy So Good” from ~ substituted the gojujang with some leftover sambal chilli (best👏🏼👏🏼🔥🔥🔥) So yummy 🤤 so good! Nice recipe! Why did I never think of ‘spicing’ up spaghetti with sambal chilli in the past🤔🤓?

I did the BYO thing today. (‘bring-your-own’ container instead of using the containers the vendors provide you to pack your food to take away from their stalls). I like that my food container was ‘collapsible’ and I could place it in my ‘everyday’ bag (which incidentally has to be ‘wide’ enough to accommodate a square shape). I prefer a ‘generous’ amount of space to hold the food I take away. So you have to know which foods you take away most often before getting your container. If you are not sure, for a start and begin your personal lifestyles abd daily patterns. Tip: Before you do BYO (if it’s a thing you do), reuse the takeaway containers you bring back. You will have to carve out ‘space’ in your time and energies to wash those containers though
