“U”is for Uppy Umbrella! Our little toddlers had so much fun learning Letterland letters with colorful scratch paper. Watching the paper turn from black to all colors of the rainbow must have seemed like magic to them! At MapleBear, we value these hands-on learning experiences just as much as our children.

Learning happens everywhere . Last week, our nursery kids had the exciting learning experience. After observing vehicles on the road, they recreated the different transportation by using multi-coloured wooden blocks indoors. At MapleBear, even something as everyday as cars on a road can be transformed into an engaging learning opportunity!

Letterland Phonics makes learning to read, write & spell fun. Our nursery kids were learning letter Z - ZigZag Zebra while playing the games specifically designed by the teachers.

🛠🧰Let’s learn all about tools! In one of our lessons recently, our K2 kids got to explore and discover all kinds of tools, even getting the chance to experiment with some of them. Here at MapleBear Paya Lebar, curiosity, exploration, and fun are always central to our learning!

If your dog has fallen ill, our team of professional veterinarians will surely know a quick fix! In one of the recent lessons, our nursery kids learned all about different farm animals and even got to play pretend at being veterinarians. Who knows, maybe one of them might grow up to be one!

Has your child ever asked you how worms can turn into butterflies and moths? Recently our playgroup kids learned all about the lifecycle of silkworms. They even had the opportunity to recreate this lifecycle with cutout butterflies, leaves, and cotton balls! Does your child also enjoy learning about nature and animals? Let us know down below!

Wondering what this mysterious mixture was used for? It’s slime! During June holiday, our playgroup kids got to enjoy the “Bear Hunt” activity. Teachers used a clever combination of corn flour and water to mimic the sensation of mud, and the children loved it! At MapleBear Paya Lebar, learning always comes hand in hand with fun (and sometimes messy!) play.

Recently, our toddlers here at MapleBear Paya Lebar took another step on their Letterland adventure! Using colorful sticks and shapes, these toddlers learned that the letter ‘H’ is for “house”!
