Review from Virginia: "I first attended one of Kim DeMarchi’s (from Empowered Parenting) workshops more than 15 years ago, long before I had a child of my own. At the time, I was working with many children in my clinic and also interacting with my friends’ children, so I thought, “Why not?!” It turned out to be one of the best decisions I made, as the workshop equipped me with strategies that I have found to be incredibly useful and effective over 20+ years of working with infants, children, and teens.
Since then, I’ve attended it 2 more times and each time I learn so much more. I’ve been using the tools I learnt from Kim for years, and it’s been a powerful reminder of how effective these strategies are as I’ve seen them work time and again. Now, as a parent, I’m applying them with my own toddler, who has reached the stage of testing boundaries, and I’ve been able to put them into action with amazing success the majority of the time.
Her workshops are always immensely engaging, fun, and educational and there’s never a dull moment. I absolutely love that Kim uses role-play to bring real-life situations to life; you can see nearly every parent in the room nodding in unison because they’re either going through it or have been through those exact moments.
