About the Programme

||Developing a Contemporary Understanding of the Quran||
Developed and delivered by Ustaz Muhammad Haniff Hassan, this programme adopts an approach that takes into account
the historical and contemporary contexts of interpretation. It seeks to relate the Quran to modern and contemporary issues that we face every day, without compromising the overall framework of the Qur'an and its core beliefs and practices.
||Facilitating Deep and Rational Reflection of ite Messages||
The lectures leverage on traditional and contemporary intellectual heritage in providing insights and reflections on the Qur'an. Participants engage in a deep and rational reflection on the messages of the Quran as Mankind's guide for all times, but with specific application to the current local and global environment in which we live in.

~ Concise and succinct approach; lecture handouts* are 20 slides per session and we have been able to cover 11 juz in 2 1/2 years.
~ Comparative approach between various mazhabs, traditional and contemporary viewpoint

Educators, young professionals and tertiary students who are particularly interested in a guided reflection on the Qur'anic text, and the application of its teachings/messages on local and global issues. Date: Every Friday Night (Fortnightly)
