Most people would expect to have a quiet drink with close friends on such a Wednesday night in this quiet enclave of an upscale residential area.

Just 3 minutes’ walk from 6th Avenue MRT Station, on the Downtown Line, lies the best kept secret, That Tuition Cafe Avenue.

By day, this is a perfect place for students engaging in learning and support from their tutors. But on this evening, this quiet, cozy place was the scene of something surprising, surprisingly exciting.

25 SME owners gathered to forge something new. They are forming a New Elders Tribe, SME Owners for SME Owners or 108MasterMind. These SME owners young and old, from multiple countries, the US, France, PRC, Myanmar, Malaysia, and Singapore; and from diverse industries from laundromat operator; industrial thermal chamber manufacturer; robotics; cybersecurity; F&B chain owner; Coffee connoisseur; natural medicine practitioner; and owner of a Castle on the Beach, gathered with a purpose.

The magic that is 108MasterMind created a palpable buzz when these business minds came together and the slow combustion, during the course of the evening turned into explosive energy of ideas & insights.

This seemingly odd collective mass consciousness suddenly reached all 25 of us at midnight.

Just like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz said:
" Toto, I've got a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore."
