The fear and instability of Covid-19 epidemic brought together Acorn trainers and teachers to conduct interactive online workshops during the home-based learning for 240 students and 14 educators on Zoom. Together, we will inspire resilience and demonstrate growth mindset to our students.

LET’S HAVE HOPE FOR OUR FUTURE, BECAUSE MORE CHILDREN ARE LEARNING TO MAKE A CHANGE! These are the environmentally friendly products made by primary 6 students who enthusiastically took on 5 sessions on SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP!

It was amazing to see them apply what they learnt… including concepts like product and pricing marketing strategies! On the last session, a bazaar was set up in which the students marketed and sold their products to their school. It was successful and well-received!!

Here’s a funny story: one of our staff was persuaded to purchase THREE different products by a group of opportunistic students!!! She only intended to purchase ONE product but was successfully persuaded otherwise by the enterprising students…

Acorn really hopes that these children will continue to grow their passion to fight climate change and their enterprising innovative skills into adulthood… And we are honoured to be part of their journey too.

As the Chinese saying goes, three minutes on stage takes ten years of hard work. Our Trailblazer teams are given 3 months to prepare their business proposal and pitch. Look at the intense moments before they take the stage to do their final pitching!
