Our Group Percussion Class (2-3 pax), otherwise known as Drum Circle for Kids programme is a group percussion class suited for friendly learners who enjoy interacting rhythmically with fellow musical enthusiasts. The class may consist of total beginners or students currently learning the drum kit.

The goal of the Drum Circle is to improve learners’ musical memory and aural skills, so that he or she is able to retain fresh rhythms and gradually improvise alongside like-minded rhythm lovers.

Each student will play on a 16” Floor Tom-Tom with a pair of drumsticks.

Every year, we receive numerous enquiries from parents who are eager to send their preschoolers to us for drum lessons. If you don't already know, we offer short-term (10-session) Drum Lessons for Preschoolers from ages 4.5 to 6 years old.

Students will learn:
- hands and right foot coordination
- drum stick control (for playing the snare drum)
- foot control (for playing the bass drum)
- basic rock and percussive beats
- basic music theory - introduction to crotchet, quaver, triplets and semiquaver
- playing different parts of the drumset
- playing along to music
- playing along to metronome
- various percussion instruments (tambourine, shakers, cowbell, agogo bells, djembe, cajon, triangle)
