Ever wondered about the artists behind your favourite collectible sculptures?

Step behind the scenes with the artists who bring your favourite collectibles to life with a rare look at the process from concept to sculpt. Led by Marthin Agusta and Tze Wei Foo, they will share deeper insights into the collectible industry.

Marthin Agusta is a Creative Director, Art Director, and Digital Sculptor with 17 years of professional career experience. As a Senior 3D Artist at Ubisoft Singapore, he created high-quality game assets before turning his talents to sculpting. Since then, he has brought Marvel, DC, Transformers, and CAPCOM characters to life as high-end statues, taking on leadership roles as Art Director at XM Studios and Creative Director at Mighty Jaxx.

Tze Wei is a concept artist with 20 years of industry experience in entertainment design, providing visual solutions to a variety of projects across industries within gaming, animation, and collectables.

This model is based on an original project by our Concept Art student, Ke You Ting (Ting Ke You) that re-imagines the Tortoise and the Hare as an annual race between rival teams of automobile inventors. This vehicle is the Tortoise Team’s humble yet reliable race-car, O’Bertha! 🐢💨

​For this Tutorial Draw-Along session, we’ll be following a video tutorial together, making it a relaxed and collaborative way to practice, explore new techniques, and improve together.

Take a look at this final project by our Concept Art & Entertainment Design student, Lester Lim (Lester)! 🌙

Lester’s take on the Legend of Chang’e follows a village herbalist who accidentally creates the elixir of life. When the greedy emperor Feng Meng attempts to seize it, Chang’e drinks the elixir herself to keep it from falling into the wrong hands. This causes her body to grow lighter and lighter, carrying her toward the moon and giving rise to the legend we know today! 🌕
