With the rapid growth of China into the world’s super economic power, our parents are keenly aware that it is critical to reinforce their children’s learning of Chinese from that being taught in school. Our parents realized that with Singapore schools using English as the first language in their children’s education, it is an uphill task for their children to learn the Chinese language which is being taught as a second language and in classes of over 30 students. From her teaching experience, Ms Choong believes that the best way of learning of Chinese is in a small group of not more than 5 students or on a one-to-one basis so that each student has ample opportunities to speak the language and for the teacher to correct their mistakes. In addition to Chinese, our students are urging us to help them in their Maths, English and Science subjects. We now have a team of dedicated and passionate teachers in Maths, English and Science who go the extra mile for their students in teaching and guiding them.

爱加倍学习中心是新加坡教育部核准注册的专门补习中心。由资深华文老师钟巧珠女士所设立的。钟老师在新加坡的中、小学拥有 40多年全职华文教学经验。

随着中国成为世界上超级经济大国的快速增长，我们做父母的都敏锐地意识到懂得华文是很关键。必须加强他们的孩子在学校学习的华文。父母体会到英语是子女在新加坡学校教育的第一语言，而华文只是第二语言。要孩子们在超过 30名学生的班来学习和掌握华文是不容易的。

从她的教学经验，钟老师认为学习华文的最佳方式是在人数不多过5 名学生或在一对一的方式上。这样每名学生都有充分的机会讲华语，而老师也有机会纠正学生的错误。

除了华文，我们的学生都要求帮助补习他们的数学，英语和科学。我们有一组教学经验丰富, 具有责任心的教师团队，每位教师都愿意为中心的学生付出加倍的努力，教导与督促他们的学习。

Hi, friends and parents, this is time for you to enrol your child to our tuition centre. Our ex students got very good results for their End of year exam or O level exam. Our tuition area include Primary school, Secondary ( Maths, Science, English and Chinese) and for JC we got H1 and H2 Maths. Hurry! come and register!

An Appreciation Letter from a grateful parent

Dear Ms Choong,

I am writing this letter to express our sincere thanks to your effort to help my sons to improve their English.

English is my two sons’ weakest subject, as they had been studying in China for a few years
and only went to Singapore’s school when they were P4 and P2 respectively. Initially, they had
difficulties on their oral English, vocabulary, grammar and writing.

In year 2016, our sons joined your centre. With your teachers’ wonderful teaching, my two sons’ English grades have improved markedly. My elder son scored a high “A” (we guess) for his English, which contributed to his final T-Score 263 for his PSLE this year. And my younger son achieved 1st position in his class. In addition to their great improvement on the grades, we also noticed that they now approach their English study more confidently.
