As part of our Care for the Environment Programme and commitment to holistic education, our students participated in an enriching educational tour to Sentosa Beach.

This outdoor experience was designed to develop students’ leadership skills through structured group activities and peer collaboration, while strengthening teamwork and interpersonal relationships through meaningful bonding moments. At the same time, this visit promoted our students’ well-being and engagement by providing a refreshing environment that encouraged relaxation and positive social interaction.

Beyond the classroom, this activity allowed our students to connect, recharge, and create lasting memories together, reflecting our continuous efforts to nurture well-rounded individuals through experiential learning.

As part of our commitment to holistic learning, our students participated in an educational visit to a supermarket.

This activity was thoughtfully designed to complement the finance-related syllabus, providing students with valuable exposure to the practical application of financial concepts within a real-world retail environment. During the visit, our students observed key operational elements such as pricing strategies, promotional activities, and product placement.

They also gained meaningful insights into cost management, budgeting, and profit margins, while analysing consumer purchasing behaviour and demand patterns. This hands-on learning experience enabled our students to effectively connect classroom knowledge with real business practices.

Through such experiential learning opportunities, we continue to nurture financially literate, analytical, and industry-ready graduates, equipped with the skills and confidence to thrive in a dynamic business environment.

We were privileged to host a meaningful Crime Prevention Talk conducted by an experienced Community Policing Officer from the Singapore Police Force.

Through this insightful session, our students acquired valuable insights into the legal consequences of offences unlawful assembly, rioting, scams, theft, va**ng, and impersonation, while reinforcing the importance of personal safety and responsible conduct. More importantly, the talk encouraged our students to make responsible choices, stay vigilant, and uphold strong values in their daily lives.

We are sincerely grateful to the Community Policing Officer for taking the time to share their expertise and for inspiring our students to be more aware, responsible, and community-minded individuals.

As part of holistic and experiential learning, our students visited the library to complement their studies in Hospitality, Business Communication, and Customer Care & Experience.

This visit provided valuable exposure to learning resources that enhanced our students' research skills, communication abilities, and understanding of customer service excellence. It also encouraged our students' independent learning, critical thinking, and professional development beyond the classroom.

This meaningful off-campus activity helped our students connect academic knowledge with real-world applications while reinforcing good conduct and respect for library guidelines.

We hosted an enriching Alumni Sharing Session at ICASTEC, where our alumni shared valuable insights into his learning journey and real-world industry experience.

From classroom knowledge to practical application, the session provided our students with meaningful exposure to industry practices and diverse career pathways.

Our students visited the Central Fire Station for an insightful and engaging learning experience.

The visit aimed to help students understand the importance of emergency fire services, identify different types of emergency vehicles and their capabilities, and gain a deeper appreciation of the full protective gear worn by firefighters.

In addition, the experience raised awareness about the high costs and serious impact of fire incidents, encouraging students to be more responsible and safety-conscious in their daily lives.

It was truly an eye-opening and inspiring experience that brought learning beyond the classroom.
