For this year’s NAF, NUS Ilsa Tari and the Indian Instrumental Ensemble (IIE) are proud to present Maha Maya, featuring musicians from Sri Mahligai. Set in an ideal world of apparent harmony, the performance invites you to uncover the tensions and inequalities beneath a seemingly utopian society. 🌏😱🤯 Is blind justice really the answer…?

✨ Here’s a quick recap of our Welcome Tea x Open Class sessions! ✨

On Day 1, we explored one of the asas (foundations) of traditional Malay dance, Mak Inang and explored a contemporary piece from the Perubatan segment of our latest production, guided by our tutors Kak Syimah and Abang Dinie.

On Day 2, we learnt another asas of traditional Malay dance, Asli Kuala Deli and for contemporary, we continued with a piece from the Pulih segment of our production. 🎭
