Little Skittles

Last Friday we gathered as a Little Skittles community to celebrate the mothers and parent figures. The children welcomed their mothers, held up a clear glass frame and drew what they saw with care and affection. They looked closely, noticed details and expressed love in their own playful language.

Mother’s Day may have been yesterday, but the warmth from Friday’s celebration still carries into 11 Margate Rd. Play can hold deep meaning; it gives children a way to observe, connect, create and say, “I see you.”

Easter at Little Skittles 🐣🌸

Today brought colour, joy and a little seasonal magic into the school day. Through shared celebrations like these, children build connection, belonging and lasting memories together.

What may look simple on the surface often holds so much more underneath: language, relationships, confidence and a growing sense of the world around them.

Little Skittles Families, thank you for joining us for our lion dance celebration this Monday. When the drums boomed and the lion came to life, the children experienced something powerful. We can feel a little unsure… and still choose curiosity, together. Through music, movement and shared brave moments, the children practiced community by noticing one another, staying close and taking in tradition side-by-side.
