WSSS NPCC The official page of West Spring Secondary School's NPCC unit, Area 19. West Spring NPCC is the largest uniformed group in West Spring.

As a young unit, West Spring NPCC has come a long way to achieve the Bronze Award in 2007 and 2008 & Gold Award since 2009 in the NPCC Unit Overall Proficiency Award (UOPA). West Spring NPCC aims to expose our cadets to fun and interesting activities amidst their busy school schedule. Life skills are being transferred on to these young minds to better prepare them for future challenges in society

or if they decide to serve the Police Force. Students may have a chance to participate in overseas learning journeys to understand the life and culture outside of Singapore. West Spring NPCC also develop the sense of self-leadership, pride, duty, loyalty, discipline, selflessness and courage through the various activities our uniformed group members engage in. These values define their characters and instill in our students the moral compass to be outstanding citizens who will significantly contribute to their families and nation building in the very near future.

From representing our school and community, to representing NPCC on the national stage, we are proud to have had Xuanyi represent NPCC at the Police Day Parade 2026, as well as Jun Fei and Hadi represent NPCC as part of the National Day Parade 2026 contingent.
Trainings are tough as they spent long hours outside of normal school and training time to rehearse for the event. A big congratulations to our cadets for this achievement! We hope this experience will be one that they remember for years to come.

Weeks of training have led up to this day.
Our cadets took part in the West Spring National Day Observance Ceremony 2026, proudly representing WSSS NPCC as we came together as a school to celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday.
From their first training session to the parade ground, it has been a long journey of learning, practising and working together.

From 24–25 July 2026, our secondary two cadets of Squad Maverix embarked on the Area 19 Adventure Training Camp at Camp Resilience, Pulau Ubin for an unforgettable 2D1N experience.
Throughout the camp, our cadets took on a range of outdoor challenges and team activities that strengthened their resilience, teamwork, and leadership skills. Every activity brought valuable lessons and memorable experiences, encouraging them to support one another and step up as a squad.
A huge well done to all our Sec 2 cadets for their enthusiasm, determination, and teamwork throughout the camp. We are proud of the positive attitude and resilience you displayed from start to finish. 🥳
This year, West Spring NPCC also had the privilege of serving as the Logistics School for ATC. A heartfelt thank you to our teachers, and volunteers for working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the camp runs smoothly. Your dedication and support played a vital role in making this camp a memorable and successful experience for all.

This year, our unit took part in the NPCC Inter-Unit Drill Competition 2026, where our cadets demonstrated immense dedication, perseverance, and teamwork throughout months of rigorous training. Through their hard work and determination, the contingent successfully advanced past the Area Qualifiers and competed at the Zonal Level.

Although we did not progress further, every training session, challenge, and performance has strengthened us as a unit and taught us valuable lessons in resilience and discipline. We are incredibly proud of our cadets for their commitment, courage, and unwavering team spirit throughout the journey.

A heartfelt thank you to our officers, instructors, teachers, and supporters for their constant guidance and encouragement. This experience will continue to inspire us to strive for greater heights in the years ahead. 💙👮‍♂️🇸🇬

On 18 May 2026, our unit proudly commemorated NPCC Day with a meaningful and well-executed parade that reflected the unity, discipline, and resilience of our cadets. Guided by our dedicated officers and teachers, every contingent marched with pride and precision—demonstrating the commitment and values upheld by the National Police Cadet Corps.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all cadets, officers, and teachers for their hard work and dedication in making this year’s NPCC Day Parade a memorable one. Happy NPCC Day 2026! 🇸🇬👮‍♂️💙
