Bringing together over 70 educators. Across 2 sessions. One early childhood community ✨

In partnership with Wigglepods, NIEC organised a music and movement engagement for our post-secondary students, adult learners, alumni, and in-service educators from the wider early childhood (EC) community to come together to learn, share, and grow through music and movement.

In these two high-energy sessions, participants explored music and movement strategies, exchanged classroom practices, and connected with fellow educators from across the sector, facilitated by experienced music and movement trainers.

Here at the Home for All Early Childhood Educators, this is one of many meaningful engagements that go beyond the classroom — building connections, strengthening practice, and growing together as one EC community.

Stay tuned for more NIEC educator engagement coming your way!

On 16 May 2026, NIEC (TP) student helpers participated in the Tampines Learning Festival 2026: Stronger Together, contributing actively to community engagement through the NIEC (TP) booth, Tokens of Love.

Designed for children aged 3 to 8 years, the booth invited children and parents to create personalised bookmarks using recycled materials to represent the love, care, and kindness they receive from their family members. Through facilitating the activity, our students supported children’s creativity, self-expression and family bonding while creating a warm and meaningful learning experience for the community 🫶

This experience provided valuable hands-on experience in planning, teamwork, communication and engaging young children and families in authentic settings for our students.

Here at NIEC, the Home for All Early Childhood Educators, learning goes far beyond the classroom. If you're looking to kick-start your journey as an early childhood educator, stay tuned to find out more!
