C278 cadets took part in a CSR activity at GoodLife! Makan, where they spent the afternoon interacting with seniors while lending a helping hand behind the scenes by cleaning the kitchen storeroom and preparing cardboard cut-outs for the center's activities. Every contribution, no matter how small, played a part in supporting the center's efforts to create a welcoming space for the community.
“Thank you to GoodLife! Makan for giving us the opportunity to serve. We’re grateful to GoodLife! Makan for the chance to contribute, learn, and bring a little warmth to the seniors through our time and efforts.” – C278

Singapore Flying College was honoured to be part of Careers in Aviation Day held at Singapore Polytechnic, jointly organised by Women in Aviation International Singapore - WAISG and the NTUC Employment and Employability Institute (e2i).
It was a meaningful day filled with engaging students and members of the public, and it was heartening to see so much passion for the industry! We were delighted to share about the different training programs offered by SFC and the diverse career opportunities we had to offer. We look forward to continuing to inspire and train the next generation of aviation professionals.
A big thank you to WAI-SG and e2i for having us and making this event possible!

Singapore Flying College recently organised a unique networking opportunity for our female cadets currently in ground school to connect with Singapore Airlines Senior First Officers Yvette Koh and Chong Yeewern.
Over a casual lunch, the session created a safe and open space for candid conversations about navigating a traditionally male-dominated industry, training alongside predominantly male cadets in Jandakot and Tamworth in Australia, balancing career aspirations with family planning, and seeking guidance on long-term career development.
Thank you to Yvette and Yeewern for generously sharing your experiences, insights and encouragement with our cadets. It was an inspiring reminder that while every aviation journey is unique, having mentors who have gone before the current cadets makes the path ahead a little clearer.
